Let’s do a quick rundown of how this event will work.
The summit will run from October 11-15. The first 4 days will have 4-5 pre-recorded presentations running each day. These presentations will include 15-25 minutes of content (with up to a 3-minute pitch for your list-building freebie) and a checklist (which my team will create) to help attendees follow along with the action steps.
While the sessions are pre-recorded, we'll have a thread for each presentation in the attendee group. This is where they’ll go to ask questions and let you know how much they loved your talk! I do ask that you check in a few times during the day that your presentation is available. It’s a great chance to engage with the attendees, answer simple questions, and point them to additional resources you have.
I also hope to have 1 or more exclusive daily “ask me anything” sessions or panels for those who purchase the Launch Kit. You will have the opportunity to volunteer for one of these to connect with the audience even more. (Totally optional! The attendees and speakers LOVED the AMAs last time, though. )
On Friday - our implementation day - I'll host 5 live sessions including a co-working and networking session. As a speaker, your attendance isn’t required, but you’re more than welcome to join us and engage with the attendees as they implement what they’ve learned from you!
Leading up to the summit, there will be two weeks of promotion opportunity. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy. There's even a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA. Each speaker is asked to promote at least once via email and once on social media to ensure everyone benefits, but anything above and beyond that is totally up to you and your goals with affiliate commissions!
During the promotion phase and as the summit is running, we’ll also be promoting the Summit Speaker Launch Kit. This includes an all-access pass for the replays, full worksheets and transcripts for each presentation (which my team will create), extra live sessions, and additional bonuses we’ll all throw in. This will provide immense value to our attendees while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions easily. Whoop whoop!
So this all sounds great...but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it! My goal is to make it as easy as humanly possible for you!
The first thing I'll need is some very basic information so we can finish up the registration page and meet the speakers page (coming soon!).
Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I'll send a link where you can upload all this information easily.
Next up is your presentation! This is a 15-25 minute pre-recorded presentation or interview that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great while having fun in the process.
Please plan your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away with something they can take action on it right away, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you ASAP.

The Summit Speaker Launch Kit will be a value-packed addition to the presentations we’re creating. To make it even more valuable, I'll ask each speaker to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:
(Note: I do not recommend any type of 1:1 contribution! This can get overwhelming if we have a lot of Launch Kit purchases)
While this contribution isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate. It’s a great way to collect hundreds of additional email addresses (as attendees will provide their information to claim your bonus) and it makes it easier to promote as well since your audience will want what you’ve included.
I'd love to get information about your bonus as soon as you’re able to provide it, but it is not due until you submit your presentation. You'll receive a questionnaire to fill out to make it easy.
The power of a virtual summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved. We can’t get maximum results for any of our speakers if no one shares.
Because of that, everyone is asked to share at least once on social media and once to their email list. Anything above and beyond that is totally up to you and the commission goals you have.
I also want to make sure that every speaker gets paid because your expertise and contribution to the summit is valuable! To that end, I'm setting aside 25% of the summit net income to profit share with the amazing Sell With a Summit speakers. (This is on top of your speaker affiliate commission.)

And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, you'll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!
All I ask is that you pop in to check on the thread in the community group related to your presentation during the time that it’s live. Easy!
If you’d like to be part of a live Ask Me Anything session for our Summit Speaker Launch Kit purchasers, you will have the opportunity to do so and can indicate that when you submit your basic speaker information.

However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads.
